The article deals with the issues connected with organizing the process of specialized teaching foreign languages at general education institutions of the Lipetsk region. In order to carry out the analysis of the situation, there were determined the following aspects as criteria: foreign languages, pre-profile education, training profiles, a system of organizing specialized teaching, a structure of federal basic curriculum (foreign language), extracurricular activity.
