Implementation of human reproductive rights in the context of development of biomedical technologies and their application

Reproductive rights belong to the new rights of humanity, to the rights of the fourth generation. They are directly related to the development of biomedical technologies in general and with the use of assisted reproductive technologies, in particular. Due to the fact that reproductive rights belong to the same sphere as biomedical technologies (reproductive capabilities of humanity), then they should be discussed in the context of “interconnectedness”. The realization of human reproductive rights is determined by the degree of their legal regulation and the level of development of biomedical capabilities. The latter allow families (or a single woman, a single man) to fulfill their need for a child, or to change the health of a person who was born in the womb (to identify undesirable genetic abnormalities that have begun and influence them by completely canceling or slowing down the development process). In connection with the above, both the representatives of the medical scientific world and the legal one, and the legislator, both national and international, need to continue to contribute at their level to the development of biomedical technologies.
