Receptions of the image of a civil servant in modern literary and artistic discourse

The article examines the image of a civil servant in culture. There is an objective trend that reflects the gap between the civil service and civil society, as well as the possible positive images that are born in art. Reflections on the civil servant and the hero of our time are considered through the prism of literary criticism and media interpretations. The article provides statistics that support the attitude of the population to the civil service, to the official. The author, who worked in the civil service as the Minister of culture of the Russian Federation, the head of the rags, the RSL, shares his expert opinion on how the term "civil servant" is interpreted legally in different countries, how the new generation is seen, including in the post-pandemic period.
