The article is devoted to the reception of M.M. Bakhtin’s heritage in the autonomist “Italian theory” (A. Negri, P. Virno, M. Lazzarato, F. Berardi and others). The author analyzes the cohesion between Bakhtin’s and autonomist thought, showing how the main literary, linguistic, and aesthetic categories developed by Bakhtin were transferred to the field of political theory becoming a tool for critical reflection on modern post-Fordist capitalism. Bakhtin’s literary writings implicitly implies a kind of “transgressive ontology” that challenges the tradition of classical metaphysics, thereby undermining the foundations of the neoliberal type of thinking. In addition, the revolutionary interpretation of Bakhtin’s approach, which took place within the framework of the “Italian theory”, is manifested in its most significant particular aspects, such as the problem of authorship and the nature of the utterance.
