The article is devoted to the issues of interaction between the teacher and the student, which are relevant for practicing teachers and, more broadly, for society as a whole, describing the essence and content of this process. The task of preparing a future teacher is a socially significant task. Therefore, the questions of the methodology of teaching future teachers the methods, methods and techniques for the implementation of speech communication in the pedagogical process seem to be very relevant. The authors of the article give a detailed analysis of the existing in modern pedagogical science classifications of methods and techniques of influencing the student and interacting with him. It is noted that pedagogy as a science in theoretical terms currently has a list of methods, techniques and means of educational influence sufficient for teaching students in the pedagogical direction of training, as well as a description of the conditions for their effective application. However, the tasks of pedagogy do not include the analysis of their speech content. Therefore, the pedagogical classifications of upbringing methods cannot be considered fully developed and suitable in methodological terms for practical application. Based on the achievements of modern genre studies, the authors, within the framework of pedagogical rhetoric, formulate a working - focused on the pedagogical sphere of activity - the definition of genres of pedagogical communication, and also propose their classification. Of particular importance is the statement that the genres of pedagogical communication are very conditionally subdivided into informative and influencing, since in pedagogical communication, any act of interaction between the student and the teacher informs him and affects him.
