Editorial culture of modern Ukrainian media

The article investigates the culture of editorial writing journalism modern Ukrainian media. The analysis revealed the typical editorial errors in the text of the printed and electronic media. Monitoring of fixed spelling errors, revealed the most typical of them and shown on the main erroneous locations. We analyzed in detail by specific examples proper and improper spelling errors, given their major manifestations, the causes. It was found that in a group dominated by spelling errors punctuation violation of the literary norm, the largest number of which is due to pass the necessary punctuation. Such errors are already biased at the level of citation, separate structures, complex sentences, plug and inserted words and phrases, and others. It has been established that the main causes of generation of non-regulatory units in the media is the lack of knowledge of the rules of the modern Ukrainian literary language, the influence of foreign elements, low-skilled editors working in the media.
