Summary translation as the means of the development of the professional communicative competence of the interpreter on the basis of the military information texts and the audiovisual material

The article deals with the issue of teaching the oral summary translation of the military interpreter at the aviation university. On the basis of the integrated approach there are described the peculiarities of the summary translation, the stages of the education and the developed skills by the use of the texts and the audiovisual material of the military aviation theme. The author suggests the system of the exercises, directed to the interrelated teaching of reading and listening, as the basis of preparing the summary translation.
