It should be mentioned that the abolition of private education providers and their integration into public universities led to the creation of a unified education system in China. The focus of higher education institutions on engineering staff training, introduction of the course in Marxism-Leninism and Maoism, major ranking as well as the emphasis on an access course for experts in national economy are the powerful steps in reforming the education system which is considered to be a coherent and integrated process. In the 1980s, the organizational structure of higher education institutions was restructured and a new structure was based on positive international experience.
