The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. Improving professional competencies, including the willingness and ability to fulfill their professional and personal development, becomes the main requirement for educators in today's rapidly changing world. Advanced training for educators is not only the fulfillment of mandatory requirements of state documents but also a condition for quality education. The relevance of the research lies in substantiating a regional model of advanced training, which determines the need to expand the professional and personal competencies of pedagogical workers for productive professional activity by revising and changing the content of additional professional programs, forms, and technologies of teacher training in additional professional education. The goal of research is to present the experience of implementing a regional model of advanced training for pedagogical workers in additional professional education for the effective improvement of competencies and professional-personal development. Methodology. The research uses systemic, competency-based, activity-based, and personality-oriented approaches, which determine the content of the learning process and allow us to define a regional three-stage model of advanced training.
