Regional political leadership: to the issue of effectiveness of formulation and implementation of management decisions

The article considers the process of implementing such a function of political leadership as political management (at the regional level). As a result of the literature review, the author comes to the conclusion that this aspect is one of the least studied components of the phenomenon of political leadership. Based on the key indicators of assessing the effectiveness of the political leader's managerial activities, the author concludes that at the present stage there is such a social and scientific problem as a possible semantic distortion of managerial goals and objectives set by the leader at all levels of the hierarchy of public administration. In addition, proposals are formed to solve this problem by conducting empirical sociological research, the subject of which is the interaction of the leader and his associates, who are his subordinates in managerial hierarchy.
