Regional systems of inclusive higher education: resource training and methodological center as institutional solution

The article, in the context of the idea of continuity of the pre-university, university and postgraduate stages of the vocational and educational career of persons with disabilities, characterizes such a format of institutional support for the establishment and functioning of regional systems of inclusive higher education, as a resource training and methodological center for training persons with disabilities. These centers are created in the regions on the basis of the universities, which has advanced experience and high scientific-methodological, pedagogical and technological capacity in education of people with developmental problems. The results of the activity of such a center, created in the Herzen University, are represented and comprehended taking into account the data of the conducted monitoring. Data on vocational guidance for schoolchildren with disabilities, comprehensive support of universities in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, inclusive education for students with disabilities, as well as coordination of interaction with employers and the employment service with regard to the employment of graduates with disabilities are analyzed.
