Regional trends in crime development by the example of Krasnoyarsk region

The article examines trends in crime in the Russian Federation and its administrative-territorial entities using a priori statistical information as an example of the Siberian Federal District and Krasnoyarsk Krai. Using methods of statistical theory based on index and relative indicators, criminological differences in crime are illustrated both by individual types and categories. The study of the main statistical characteristics of crime allows to determine the main trends in the development of crime in modern conditions, as well as to establish structural displacements and the scope of variation of indicators in the regions by the example of Krasnoyarsk krai.
