Regulation of teachers’ and parents’ responsibilities in the educational process (using the example of a specific sociological study)

The article touches on the pressing issue of the distribution of responsibilities between participants in the educational process as a way to resolve conflicts between the teaching staff, school administration and the parent community. The work is based on the results of a sociological study conducted in 2022 in schools located in 18 districts of the city. During the study, a survey was conducted of 6,896 respondents-parents (legal representatives) of students living in various areas of the city with minor schoolchildren. The survey was conducted online. As a result of the study, the authors suggest ways out of the difficult situation, the main of which should be a soft informational and educational work of the teaching staff with the families of students (implementation of pedagogical education, counseling, methodological support of legal representatives of minor schoolchildren). Such interaction efficiency is ensured on the basis of common agreements of the parties and understanding of the gradation of their areas of responsibility in the educational process.
