Regression analysis of the competitiveness of the fat and oils subcomplex

As the domestic market becomes more saturated with products from the oil and fat industry, regional agricultural enterprises are increasingly competing for market share. In this context, it is important to use regression analysis to develop an optimal strategy for improving the competitiveness of products related to the large-scale production of oil and fat products in the agricultural sector. This article explores the uneven distribution of sales volumes for oil and fat products in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The main objective of the study is to analyze the dynamics of sales over an eleven-year period (from 2013 to 2023) based on key indicators of competitiveness. Based on the analysis conducted, a correlation and regression analysis was performed, the results of which allowed for the prediction of the relationship between the total volume of vegetable oil sales and the average annual processing capacity of oilseeds in the short and medium term to assess competitive advantages.
