The recursive cognitive loop of the DIKW model in the age of artificial intelligence: the rationale for cyclicity and synthesis of new variables
The article explores the conceptual evolution of the classical DIKW (Data – Information – Knowledge – Wisdom) knowledge management model Russell Akoff under the influence of artificial intelligence technologies. The authors substantiate the theoretical inconsistency of the linear approach to information transformation and propose a radical modification of the scheme – its looping into a recursive cognitive contour. In addition to the intermediate level of “Understanding”, new variables are introduced into the model structure for the first time: “Contextual filter” and “Ethical Feedback”. The paper describes the purpose of the looping process, the practical result in a managerial context, and the transformation of the principles of interaction with neural networks in order to transform autonomous “black boxes” into a controlled hybrid intelligence circuit.
