The article is a review of the book “Sergey Nikolaevich Bulgakov” published in 2020 by the publishing house “Russian Political Encyclopedia” (ROSSPEN) - a collection of articles on the personality and work of a 20th century major religious thinker archpriest S. N. Bulgakov. The publication contains the work of modern theologians, philosophers and religious scholars engaged in the study of his heritage (R. M. Tsvalen, A. P. Kozyrev, N. A. Vaganova, H. Hiroyuki, archpriest P. V. Khondzinsky and others). All four sections of the book are considered, a brief description of each article is given, a number of texts are analyzed in more detail. Philosophical and theological views, and especially archpriest S. Bulgakov’s sophiological concept are characterized as being complex and ambiguous, but attracting more and more researchers, causing scholarly discussions and requiring further study.
