Religious worldview of the Dagestani population

The article examines the religious worldview of the Dagestani population, shows an understanding of the phenomenon of «faith», establishes the existence of a tolerant attitude towards other creeds and non-believers in the behavior of respondents, moreover, the desire to expand their knowledge about other religions. For Dagestan society, as a polyreligious education, in public, personal, and everyday life, the confessional factor, regardless of the prevailing ideology, has always been actualized. Therefore, the formation of universal human values and moral principles is associated with religious postulates. The empirical material states the respondents' positive perception of the influence of religion on their lives, moreover, they emphasize the need to expand the field of action of religion. Respondents associate the manifestation of a person's moral qualities with a creed, with the rules laid down in it. The religious factor is being strengthened, accordingly, its influence is increasing, and accordingly, its consistency with the secular nature of the Russian state will be decisive in maintaining stability and a positive climate in society.
