We study the typology, frequency and severity of ethological patterns in children and adolescents with depression and anxiety caused by insulin-dependent diabetes (T1D). It is shown that ethological method increases the informativeness of clinical investigation of patients, promotes objectification and verification of data on the presence and severity of affective pathology caused by T1D, can reliably discriminate between depressive and anxiety disorders in the absence or difficulty of the verbal contact with the child.
