Representation of the ethnogender world picture in the names of the professions and posts of the old Russian language

The article deals with the analysis of the ethnogender world picture, represented in the meanings of the old Russian names of professions. There is paid special attention to the ethnical and gender meaning in the Russian linguistic culture, presented in the semantics of the national vocabulary. There is studied the lexical and thematic group “names of professions and posts”. The author describes the gender lexical and grammar specificity of naming the persons by professions. There are revealed the markers that are significant for the definition of the gender and ethnical belonging of the native speakers.
