The article reflects the results of a study, the purpose of which is to develop a methodology for representing the cultural and natural heritage in school educational programs for scientific and informational support of its popularization. The developed methodology provides a set of modern information and knowledge about the cultural and natural heritage of Russia, presents an algorithm for the formation of educational methodological and additional material on the protection and use of heritage, contributes to obtaining extensive reference information, which is especially important for enriching the cultural process and education. The proposed methodology allows solving the problems of the classification selection of cultural heritage objects for information content of the content of educational programs in the field of cultural and natural heritage. The formation of a unified methodology creates the possibility of its further use by various educational institutions.
