Represent at ion of a utopian worldview in the story of L. Ulitskaya "Sonechka"

Problem and purpose. In the article the features of a utopian world outlook in L. Ulitskaya's novel "Sonechka" are considered. The problem of constructing a dualistic picture of the world, presented in the text, is being foregrounded. The purpose of the article is to identify utopian motives in one of the iconic works of contemporary Russian literature. The author of the article made an attempt to reconstruct the picture of the world, represented in the story through the prism of the opposition "utopia-reality". The methodology of the study is realized on the basis of comparative-historical and culturological approach. Results. Grounded on the literary analysis of the manifestations of a utopian worldview, a dualistic constructive dominant of the text is revealed. The conclusion. The image of Sonechka is created within the framework of a utopian worldview which is sophiological. The immersion of the heroine into the surreal worlds makes her existence in the real world quite problematic. Even the sphere of everyday life is extremely ritualized, which allows Sonechka to remain objectified and exist outside the actual time and space. The images of Robert Viktorovich and Tanya in this respect remain absolutely realistic, even ironicphysiological, which allows us to consider the "utopia-reality" dualism a tool for constructing the text.
