Solution of the elastic rectangular plate tension problem by the rapid expansion method

The article considers the formulation of an elastic rectangular plate stretching problem and it’s solution by the rapid expansion method. The system of partial differential equations is reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations and solved by Euler's method. The expressions for displacements and stresses are obtained.
