The article is devoted to the issue of determining the content of the section of the curriculum "Professional and applied physical training" (PPFP) through the analysis and determination of professionally important psychophysical qualities necessary for a graduate of this field of training, identifying the most significant in terms of professional fitness, choosing the means of developing professionally important psychophysical qualities of students-future specialists. The proposed sequence of solving this problem allows us to apply the proposed methodology to students of higher education institutions in any field of training.
