Decision to action: on the ideal content of Chingiz Aitmatov's story "Face to face"

On the example of the story "Face to Face" the richness of the conceptual (ideological) content of the works of the outstanding writer of the XX century Chingiz Aitmatov is shown. Pointing to some striking passages, the authors of the article emphasize the importance of the implementation (representation) in the text of this small work of concepts such as fate and resilience. In a number of other fragments of the story, in the opinion of researchers, such organic properties of relations between generations (in a traditional society) are clearly shown, such as determination to act and responsibility to the family for their actions (deeds).
