Resources of some kinds of medicinal plants of flora of Kabardino-Balkaria

The article contains data on the investigated stocks of medicinal raw materials in the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria - in the vicinity of the city of Nalchik, in Elbrus, Chegem, Chereks, Baksansky, Urvan and Prokhladnensky districts. A resource assessment of Achillea millefolium, Hypericum perforatum, Origanum vulgare, Tanacetum vulgare, Inula helenium, Valeriana officinalis is given. For each type of medicinal plant yield, biological and operational reserves, and the volume of possible annual billets are calculated. As a result of the conducted studies it was revealed that the resources of the investigated medicinal plants of the flora of Kabardino-Balkaria are sufficient to meet the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and the pharmacy network.
