Revolutions and the inter-revolutionary period of 1917 in the Kuban region: historical experience

Article is devoted to the events connected with the difficult processes of two revolutions and the inter-revolutionary period of 1917 in the Kuban region. This period characterizes by the surge of the political activity in Russian provinces and discussions about possible models of state power. The position of representatives of various political parties and estates on some key questions of local government are shown. It is convincingly proved that the unwillingness of various political forces and groups to be tolerant to each other provoked the beginning of the armed opposition which has developed into the Civil war in the region. These lessons of history are very useful in our days.
