The article is devoted to the decorative applied art of the Tuvinians - stone carving. The characteristic of the main material for work - agalmatolite is given. The snuffboxes made of stone exhibited at the exposition «Decorative applied art. Silver» in the National museum of the Republic of Tuva named after Aldan-Maadyr are described.
