Resistant course of opioid addiction

133 males with the diagnosis of opioid addiction were examined. They were divided into 2 groups according to treatment efficiency. The first group consisted of subjects who terminated aftercare and resumed narcotization; the second group consisted of subjects with remission after-care stage for more than 1 year. The differences in the groups of the study were defined according to the following medical and biological characteristics: age at admission, age of starting administrating psychoactive substance, hereditary background, availability of chronic somatic diseases, availability of craniocerebral trauma, HIV status, neurological disorders, maximum daily dose of acetomorphine, cases of drug overdose in past medical history, duration of disease, previous treatment for drug abuse, dispensary observation, deviation of physical status at admission, sleep disruption. The factors with essential differences were defined in the study groups.
