The results of the study of trade of motor oils of various basic framework on anti-wear properties. To investigate selected mineral commodities, partially-synthetic and synthetic oils of different groups of operating properties: for gasoline engines from SF to SL and diesel from SS to CF. Tests were conducted on trehsharikovoy friction machine [1] to Scheme friction "ball-cylinder", each of the three balls in contact with the surface of the cylinder on an individual path, and through one of the balls was passed a constant current (100 mA) of the external stabilized power source (3 AT). The samples were chosen: Balloon (bearing number 1210) with a diameter of 9.5 mm and the upper wing roller bearing number 30208 80 mm in diameter. Both samples made of steel SH 15. The influence of the time of formation of fric-tional contact, the electrical conductivity of the boundary layer and the intensity factor mechanochemical processes for wear, defined criterion for evaluating mechanical processes occurring in the frictional contact.
