The rehabilitation of foster children is one of the demands of modern society.Being brought up in closed institutions, teenagers find themselves in the conditions of deprivation and feel devoid of opportunity to satisfy their basic needs. The article represents the main results of the research on teenage trust peculiarities in the conditions of deprivation. In our research deprivation conditions are regarded as a continued lack of opportunity to satisfy basic needs. Understanding the phenomenon of deprivation makes it easier to see the sources of many psychological problems and therefore their solutions. Trust is considered through the principal characteristics: self-treatment, self-rating, level of subjective control. As a result of the performed research, we have defined teenage profiles. It gave us the opportunity to determine the problem from which the psychological work with the teenager starts. The obtained data make it possible to work out a unified pattern of assistance to teenagers in deprivation conditions. The basis of this model is constituted by three components necessary to consider: individual psychological differences, problem scope, social and psychological peculiarities. The findings presented in this article may be used in the psychological and social work with adolescents in rehabilitation centers, with a goal of preventing diversion of personality, through the correction of the main indicators of trust.
