Emphasis in the study was placed on the analysis of in-patient and long-term clinical and angiographic outcomes of «Sinus» stent implantation in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. The study group consisted of 24 ACS patients. All patients underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with a «SINUS"stent produced in Russia. The total number of implanted stents was 27. The mean length of a stented segment was 16.65±2.26 mm, with an average diameter making up 3.29±0.25 mm. In-patient and six months (5.6±0.66 months) follow-up outcomes were evaluated. PCI was successful in 100% of cases. There were no such complications as death, myocardial infarction (Ml) or the need in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in the hospital and during follow up.The following features of PCI should be noted: in three cases (12.5%) there were problems with removing the balloon from the stent delivery system after its implantation, stent thrombosis was observed in one case (4.2%). 5.6±0.66 months follow up was carried out for 71 % of patients. Follow up coronary angiography was performed in 15 patients (63%). In-stent restenosis was diagnosed in five patients (33%). All the patients with restenosis (20.8%) underwent target vessel revascularization (TVR).
