Risks associated with a lifelong maintenance contract

The article discusses the possible risks arising from the conclusion, execution and termination of a dependent lifelong maintenance agreement. The author analyzes opinions on the risky nature of the contract, and also defines the difference between this contract and a permanent annuity contract. Particular attention is paid to the study of the problem of concluding a contract of lifelong maintenance with a dependent with an unscrupulous counterparty. Conclusions are formulated and methods of minimizing legal risks when concluding this agreement are proposed.
