Features of rhythm and syntax of M. Tsvetaeva's prose

The article is concerned with the analysis of the phenomenon of rhythmic organization of the prosaic text. The author points to the main theories of prosaic rhythm in modern linguistics, analyses certain features of rhythmic organization of M. Tsvetaeva’s prose at the level of its syntactic structure: inversions, syntactic overlapping, the author's punctuation marks. Special attention is paid to prose rhythm which forms the individual style of the writer.
