The aim of this study is to estimate the “remodeling technique", while treating intracranial aneurysms. The results of endovascular treatment of 260 patients with 270 aneurysms are analyzed. Depending on the method of occlusion the patients were broken down in three groups. Those of the first group were operated without the remodeling technique. In the second group a balloon remodeling was used during endovascular treatment. The third group patients underwent a stent-assisted coiling. The stent-assisted coiling reduced the influence of geometry of AA: the outcome of surgery did not depend on the volume and size of the neck aneurysm. Complications of endovascular treatment were observed in 63 of operated patients (23.3%), the hemorrhagic complications were noticed in 10 patients (2.7%). The remodeling techniques allows to radically treat aneurysms with unfavourable geometry that poses a problem for a traditional embolization technique.
