The role of additional education and leisure activities in the patriotic education of younger schoolchildren

The article considers the role of additional education and leisure activities in the development of patriotism among younger schoolchildren. The study indicates various forms of patriotic education in the educational sphere. It is emphasized that one of the effective methods of patriotic education is the organization of circle classes, as well as excursions and trips. In addition, it is indicated that during leisure activities, children are involved in interesting, fascinating and cognitive activities that help them better understand and evaluate their history, culture and national values.
