The role of ESG standards in “green” construction

The article examines the principles of ESG as the basis for the standardization of “green” construction, highlights environmental, social and managerial aspects, including trends in increasing climate sustainability and the use of renewable energy, prospects for the development of professional competencies. The issue of implementing ESG standards based on the Russian regulatory framework and foreign certification systems for «green» construction was also considered in detail. Examples of LEED-certified capital construction projects in Russia and abroad are given.
