The role of grammar in the development of students' language competence

The article is devoted to the consideration of language competence, which includes a special type of competence - grammatical. The article also examines the ways of mastering new language tools. When mastering the grammar of a foreign language in a school course, special attention should be paid to the rules (theory) in combination with speech practice, which is also reflected in this work.
