The role of artificial intelligence in the modern higher education system

The article presents the definition of artificial intelligence, highlights the main directions of its use in the higher education system. The experience of the introduction and use of artificial intelligence in the domestic and foreign educational space is reflected. The advantages are listed and the necessity of using artificial intelligence in the process of teaching students online is justified. The authors conclude that artificial intelligence is a necessary tool for organizing an effective educational process, allowing the use of intelligent adaptive learning platforms, as well as to simplify and improve various processes in higher education institutions.
