Role of ASIC channels in pathological conditions

The article considers the role of ASIC channels in one of the most important senses of organisms. It is shown how ASIC channels are involved in pain states, on which their contribution to pain is based. Information is also provided on the relevance of studying acid-sensitive ion channels at the moment.
