The article analyzes the role of commercial banks in the financial market system, the structure of the financial market, the interaction of the Central Bank and commercial banks. Priority branches of development of the financial market at the present stage are also considered, capitalization of the Russian stock market is studied, analysis with other countries is carried out. The relevance of this article is predetermined by the fact that the Russian financial market is currently poorly developed, which is facilitated by a variety of reasons.
