The role of context and language interference in the learning process of understanding and translation of the text

The article discusses the problem associated with the difficulties of mastering foreign language vocabulary, due to the inter-linguistic mixing of similar forms, as well as socio-cultural, country-specific and other features of the interaction of lexical systems of the native and foreign languages. The types of interlingual interference are considered, as well as the context, as an important factor influencing the choice of a lexical unit and its meaning in the translation of the word or the text.
