This article examines the role of media and social networks in shaping the image of the city and its tourist attractiveness. Modern media and social networks play an important role in the information sphere and become a powerful tool for popularizing cities among tourists. One of the main ways to form the image of a city is to present its attractions, cultural events, tourist routes and other interesting places through the media and social media. With the help of photos, videos, reviews and recommendations on social networks, users can be a powerful tool to attract tourists. Advertising campaigns to get to know the city from the inside and get an idea of its atmosphere and opportunities for recreation and entertainment. Media and social networks are also popular, the publication of special offers and promotions on social networks allows you to attract the attention of potential tourists and interest them to visit the city.
