High-grade malignant gliomas (HGG) represent a serious problem for pediatric oncologists. Despite the improvement of approaches to the treatment of HGG during the last decades, satisfactory results of treatment of this group of patients have not yet been achieved. The aim of our study was to evaluate the significance for prognosis of some radiologic, morphologic, and molecular genetic characteristics of verified brain gliomas on our own material. We analyzed the overall survival of 94 patients with HGG who received radiotherapy or chemoradiotherapy treatment in Russian Scientific Center of Roentgenoradiology (RSCRR) in the period from 2016 to 2018, depending on the studied factors (tumor structure, volume of surgical intervention, mutational status). The best overall survival (OS) in the study group was observed in patients with radical surgery, absence of K27M mutation in H3F3A gene, predominance of dense tumor component and absence of decay zones according to MR study.
