The role of teaching foreign academic writing in the master's degree-postgraduate programs of a modern university

The paper discusses the importance of the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students of Master's degree and postgraduate programs of modern universities in terms of academic writing that is necessary for international written scientific and professional communication. The authors propose a phased study of the basic elements and genres of written scientific speech with the gradual allocation of academic writing in a separate discipline in graduate school.
