The role of local self-government bodies in the context of administrative-territorial reform of the Kyrgyz Republic at the level of Ayil aimaks

The process of administrative-territorial reform of the Kyrgyz Republic at the level of aiyl aimaks has been expected for a long time; its implementation was preceded by the adoption of many regulatory documents and the political course chosen by the country's leadership. This article discusses the conduct of the APR in the Kyrgyz Republic at the level of aiyl aimaks in 2023-2024, which will give rise to new objective changes in municipal bodies.
