This scientific article explores the role of healthy nutrition in human sports life. It is based on an extensive review of the existing literature, analysis of scientific research and expert opinions. The article discusses the benefits and effects of proper nutrition on physical activity, athletic performance and overall health of athletes. Recommendations on the preparation of a balanced diet for athletes of various disciplines and training levels are also discussed. Constant training requires endurance and regular energy expenditure from a person, an appropriate mental state and certain physical characteristics. An insufficient amount of nutrients in the body can lead to an imbalance of energy and to general exhaustion of the body. The study highlights the importance of proper nutrition in achieving high athletic performance and overall human well - being.
