The role of polymorphism of the β 1-adrenergic receptor gene in the development of cardiovascular diseases is considered. Currently, diseases of the cardiovascular system remain relevant throughout the world, despite a slight decrease in morbidity and mortality in developed countries. It has been proven that in the development of cardiovascular diseases, a particular role is played by certain gene polymorphisms. A lot of studies conducted by researchers from different countries show conflicting results between the connection of polymorphism of the α1-adrenoreceptor gene Arg389Gly and cardiovascular pathology.
