The role of the preposition «с» in the formation of the case meaning of the construction «c» + noun in the genitive case

This paper examines the role of the preposition in the formation of case meaning on the example of non-derivative lexical preposition «c» in constructions with nouns in the genitive case when adverbial relations are expressed. The author analyzes the constructions of spatial, temporal, qualitative and adverbial, and causal meaning, confirming the theoretical concepts with examples from fiction, nonfiction, journalism.
