Role of professional and educational standards in labor management

This publication is devoted to the place and role of professional and educational standards in the system of relations for the organization of the labor market. The author claims that the national qualifications system in connection with the complexity of the content of types of economic activity requires its centralization. The sphere of vocational education, to which the role of a guideline should be assigned to the needs of the labor market, also requires a certain degree of centralization. Correlation of the system of professional standards that is currently being formed with educational standards is a necessary condition for the training of professional personnel for sustainable economic development.
