The purpose of the study is to formulate a methodological approach to the formation of indicators characterizing the potential of the region. A study and justification of the appropriate methods for measuring and assessing the types of potential that determine the investment attractiveness of the region had implemented. The conclusion is drawn about the influence of the studied types of potential on the investment attractiveness of the region.
